About the Course
The Career Readiness & Employability Programme is designed to help students and young people develop a stronger understanding of the world of work and the skills needed to navigate it with confidence. The programme focuses on the areas that are often expected by employers but are not always taught in formal education, helping participants feel more prepared for the transition from study into employment.
Participants explore key areas including professional communication, workplace expectations, confidence, career decision-making, personal strengths and how to present themselves effectively in professional settings. The programme also helps participants understand what employers look for, how to recognise and communicate transferable skills, and how to approach career development with greater clarity and purpose.
By the end of the programme, participants should feel better equipped to make informed career decisions, understand professional expectations and approach future opportunities with greater confidence. The programme is suitable for those beginning to explore their options as well as those preparing to enter the workplace.
