About the Course
The Personal Brand, Networking & Career Visibility programme helps students and young people understand how they are perceived professionally and how to communicate their skills, experience and potential with greater confidence. It focuses on developing a professional identity that feels credible and authentic, both online and in person.
Participants learn how to build and strengthen their LinkedIn profile, communicate their experience effectively and create a clear professional presence. The programme also explores networking in a practical and accessible way, including how to introduce yourself, approach professionals, start conversations, follow up appropriately and maintain professional relationships over time.
Participants are encouraged to think beyond networking as simply asking for opportunities. Instead, they learn how to build genuine professional connections, engage with industries they are interested in and increase their visibility within relevant spaces. The programme can also cover professional communication online, creating a positive digital footprint and using platforms such as LinkedIn strategically.
By the end of the programme, participants should feel more confident presenting themselves professionally, building meaningful connections and using their network and online presence to support future career development and opportunities.
