About Us

The Student Body began in 2019 as The Stutor Club, created to help students find employment while studying. As the community grew, we realised jobs alone were not enough. In 2021 we evolved into The Student Body to meet a wider need we were seeing every day. We believe education goes beyond the classroom. Young people deserve access to opportunities, mentoring and real-world experiences that shape their futures.

 

We exist to bridge the gap between education and experience, especially for students from lower socio-economic, underrepresented or overlooked backgrounds.

Since 2021 our focus has been to ensure students are not limited to the classroom but supported to thrive in the real world. Since then we’ve connected over 1000 students with industry professionals, practical workshops and leadership opportunities, and created pathways into mentoring, internships and work experience. 

 

At our core, we are committed to raising leaders. We equip students to step into their potential, serve their communities and create lasting impact across schools, colleges, universities and beyond.​
